The Crown Lounge is located on the upper level of the airport, near the duty-free area. To find this lounge, simply follow the signs or look for the nearby Starbucks and Donuts Factory. While the location is easy to find, the entrance to the lounge is not very noticeable, so you might easily miss it.

Welcoming Experience

Upon first entering the lounge, I felt that the welcome was not particularly friendly. The receptionist seemed busy with personal calls and showed little interest in the guests coming and going. The lounge offers a variety of food and beverages, from snacks to coffee brewed by baristas. However, I noticed that the food quality was inconsistent, and the service was not meticulously attended to. Some dishes may not be fresh and lack creativity.

Noteworthy Drawbacks

One disappointing aspect is the charge for using the restroom. In business class, this is common, but it is quite rare in other airline lounges. Additionally, the lounge being completely open to the outside terminal makes it noisy and allows birds to fly in.

If you are planning to visit Amman and want to experience this lounge, be prepared for service that may not meet your expectations. Vietnamese travelers may need to apply for a visa before entering Jordan, which could require providing financial documentation and hotel bookings. The cost of living in Jordan is relatively high, with a meal costing around 300,000 - 500,000 VND, depending on where you dine.

To reach Amman, you can fly from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City with one of the major airlines, with a flight duration of about 13-15 hours, including layovers. The current exchange rate is approximately 1 JOD (Jordanian Dinar) to 34,000 VND, so be sure to prepare the appropriate currency for your travels.
