Although this brand is relatively new, it has quickly gained attention with its Nasi Lemak Bakar – nasi lemak wrapped in pandan leaves and grilled over an open flame, though sadly, this dish is only available seasonally.

I tried the Nasi Lemak Ayam Bakar (RM21.90). When the dish arrived, my first impression was the beautiful presentation, although the portion size was smaller than expected. The nasi lemak rice was incredibly soft, rich in coconut milk flavor, and had a perfect texture, but the sambal left me disappointed. Despite its appealing appearance, the overly sour taste from the tamarind powder ruined the experience for me.

With prices ranging from RM20 to RM60 per person, I expected more from the meal. While I cannot deny the beef rendang was decent, nothing can replace the experience of authentic nasi lemak paired with a delicious and harmonious sambal.
