Explore the Delta One Lounge at LAX - a relaxing haven offering top-notch cuisine and dedicated service.

Overview of the Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles

The Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) maintains its excellent service quality and is undoubtedly one of my favorite lounges at LAX. Recently, I had the chance to experience this lounge before my flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta on an A350-900. It's safe to say that this place is truly an ideal choice to kick off your journey in comfort.

Operating Hours and Access

The Delta One Lounge is open daily from 4:15 AM to 11:00 PM. Access to the lounge is permitted for passengers flying Delta One on the same day or Delta 360 members with same-day tickets. For those arriving from connecting flights, a boarding pass check is required at the entrance.

Location and Design

This lounge is located in the basement of Terminal 3 at LAX, easily accessible via elevators or a dedicated entrance for Delta One. Although it is much smaller than the lounge at JFK, with a total area of about 10,280 square feet and a maximum capacity of 217 passengers, it still creates a luxurious atmosphere with plenty of relaxing seating areas, a restaurant, and an outdoor terrace.

Exquisite Culinary Experience

The Delta One Lounge at LAX stands out with its diverse and rich menu. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, a stylish Mexican breakfast dish featuring natural eggs, cotija cheese, and ranchero sauce. The menu also includes many other options, such as fresh sushi, which I couldn’t try since I’m not a fan, but I’ve heard it’s top-notch.

Here, the coffee is sourced from Verve, renowned for its taste and quality. In fact, the dessert I chose, a Sundae, left a lasting impression on me, and I requested another cup of coffee before leaving. It was truly a memorable culinary experience.

Amenities and Services

The lounge offers various amenities, such as automated massage chairs, allowing you to relax without waiting. Additionally, the wellness area equipped with Hyperice devices helps you unwind after a long flight. I tried the massage chair and found it incredibly comfortable, which is definitely worth it for frequent travelers.

Customer Service

The service at the lounge is a significant plus. The staff who attended to me during my time there were enthusiastic and friendly. This really stood out compared to other places I’ve experienced, where I often felt shy about taking photos.

Useful Information for Vietnamese Travelers

For Vietnamese tourists planning to visit Los Angeles and fly with Delta One, make sure you have all your visa procedures in order. Currently, to enter the U.S., you need a B1/B2 tourist visa, which costs around 2 million VND. To find specific information about flights from Vietnam to Los Angeles, you can check ticket booking websites. Round-trip fares typically range from 15 million to 30 million VND, depending on when you book and the airline.

It’s especially advisable to plan your visit during the fall months from September to November, when the weather is more pleasant, there’s less rain, and the air is fresher. Based on my experience, heading to the Delta One Lounge will make your journey much more relaxing and enjoyable.

Conclusion

The Delta One Lounge at LAX is not just a place to wait for your flight; it’s a memorable experience with attentive service and delectable cuisine. I will definitely return here on my future trips.
